How does GlobalBlock work?
Directly at the registry – not just on a waitlist
The block is placed via a private BSA API directly with the participating registries. Blocked domains appear in WHOIS with a note referencing GlobalBlock and are simply unavailable for web or email use by third parties. No zone file entries, no public access.

Priority AutoCatch – always on watch
Domains already held by third parties at the time of your order are continuously monitored by GlobalBlock in the background. As soon as such a domain becomes available, it is automatically and free of charge added to your block – before it becomes publicly available again.
Domain Unblock – flexibility when you need it
Do you actually need a previously blocked domain for a campaign, a product, or your business? With Domain Unblock, you can release it from the block at any time and register it as usual. Standard registration fees apply.

How the application process works
Submit documents
You provide us with your brand name and the corresponding proof. Depending on the type of right, this may include:
Preliminary Report
Before placing an order, we can create a report for you showing how many and which domains would be blocked under GlobalBlock – including domains already held by third parties. (optional, recommended)
Verification
Your documents are reviewed by Valideus Limited, an independent third-party provider. The process is free of charge and typically takes up to one week. You have up to three attempts to submit additional documents. Upon successful verification, you receive a BSA IPR number.
Order & activation
We submit the order via the BSA Gateway. The block becomes active across all participating registries within four hours.
For existing DPML customers: DPML Bridge
Already using DPML and want to move to GlobalBlock, but your DPML contract hasn't expired yet? With the DPML Bridge Service, you get immediate access to the additional GlobalBlock extensions – without having to cancel your existing DPML early.
The bridge service runs in parallel with your DPML and ends no later than its expiration date. Available as GlobalBlock Bridge and GlobalBlock+ Bridge, each with terms of 1, 2, or 3 years.
