There are a few restrictions: You can only be the .DE domain owner or a contracted service provider. Unfortunately, the Authinfo2 request does not work for any other extensions. And a deletion must not have taken place more than 30 days ago (the so-called "Redemption Grace Period" /RGP).
AuthInfo2 and AuthInfo2 Code - what exactly are they?
Saving your .DE domain: It is important to enter the auth code when transferring a domain. However, you may not have received the auth code. For example, because your domain has already been deleted (30 days is fine), the registrar or provider is not responding or no longer exists. Sometimes the codes are incorrect.
In these cases INWX can still help you. You can submit an Authinfo2 request, which we will forward to DENIC, the registry for .DE domains. You will then receive a unique password – the Authcode2. You can use this to recover your domain at INWX.
